According to Valleywag, Business 2.0 may be closing shop with September being the rumored last issue.

“Business 2 editors (at least one) have told writers they are not assigning any stories for the October issue because the mag’s last issue will be September.”

I have a soft spot for this magazine. Call it what you will, this magazine (and others) was responsible for me getting my shit together and also getting me into the line of work I am in now. The maxim, details and Perfect 10’s turned into Business 2.0, Fast Company, Red Herring and Calcanis’ own Silicon Alley.
